Hello all!

Well, we get probably 50 new account requests a day and 99.999999% are just bots. So, I have enabled registration via authorization.

If you do not send me an email with your name and tract you own OR "I am a real life guest or realtor or whatever", then I reject them all.

We have guests on here that can see the general forum and share great information about Wildlife.

We have realtors that help sell our tracts or sell land that we might be interested in.

We also have owners. The OWNERS section needs to be, and is, verified via the ECAD tax records so make sure that your name appears with them or you have some sort of paperwork to prove who you are so we can add you.

The OWNERS section is hidden and locked to only OWNERS and their family members (lots of people want their family to help them with their ranch so we open it to those authorized by the owner), so you do not have to worry about prying eyes in there.

Folks, OWNERS are responsible for all actions and attitudes of their guests/family, so please be aware of this.

Lastly, the BOARD MEMBER EMAIL list. Instead of emailing ONLY one board member, you can email ALL of them at once by sending an email to:

Now remember, this site and email ability is not OFFICIAL. This is a tool, but we still call ourselves unofficial since we do not handle the real job of the PoA... this is just a means to allow owners to learn, teach, talk, and interact online.

We try to update the email list, and all other information, but we are only human. If you see a need, let us know.

The general and wildlife sections are the same group. I just divided them to make it easier to manage and more aesthetically pleasing.

worked too, huh?;)

There is nothing that generates interest in the site.. heh.. if they are told about it, they join.

If I opened the site to anyone, folks would start getting worried about their privacy ;)

There are groups. If you belong to a certain group, you get to see forums.

If you are part of the ""land owners" group.. you get the PoA private section.

If you get approved but do not belong to a group, you get the welcome and general sections.

If you are on the board, you get the PoA board member's section.

The owners section is locked. The open registration is only good to get into the site. They cannot see anything till I approve them, so we were never "at risk" it was just annoying... heh

So what does that mean? Do we all have to re-register? What do you mean "fake" registrations?

This caused me to think about the accessibility of the website to outsiders. All those photos, and other info, might be like "on-line shopping" for poachers. They can locate where to find the best game, and even what tracts to find it on.... They might even be able to identify the days we are out there, and when we are likely not. I recall an earlier post where one member said, "If the gate is unlocked, come on in for a visit." Well, I know from this website that if the gate is locked, this person ain't around and I'll climb over the gate and maybe get a shot at one of those big WTD bucks that he posted pictures of on the website!
